Program Notes:
The Sun Never Says paints a picture of unconditional love. The sun is providing for and lighting the world, but never asking for anything in return. This creates a pure sweetness, but to humans, it forms tension. The sense of calm given through the piece is telling of the tender and powerful love which never truly rests.
